Hearing reminders and notifications

How Munshi’s 60/30/10-minute hearing reminders work offline, how to change reminder times, hide case names, and what to do if reminders don’t appear.Updated 26 October 2026

Every approved hearing gets reminders 60, 30 and 10 minutes before it. They are local notifications scheduled on your phone, so they work without internet, even in airplane mode.

Change reminder times

Go to More → Reminders & brief. Switch any of these on or off:

  • 1 hour before · 30 minutes before · 10 minutes before · at hearing time
  • Morning summary (7:30 AM)
  • Ask for the outcome after each hearing

To change reminders for one case, open the case and edit its reminders.

Actions on the notification

On my way, Snooze 10 min or Open the case — without unlocking your diary.

Hide case names

For confidential matters turn on Hide case names in notifications in Privacy & security. The lock screen then shows only the time and court.

Reminders not appearing?

  1. Check notifications are allowed: Android Settings → Apps → Munshi → Notifications.
  2. Turn off battery optimisation for Munshi: Settings → Apps → Munshi → Battery → Unrestricted. Some phones (for example Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo, Infinix, Tecno) also need Autostart enabled.
  3. Make sure Do Not Disturb allows Munshi, or add Munshi as an exception.
  4. Open Munshi once after restarting your phone so reminders are rescheduled.
