Voice case entry
Speak a case. Munshi writes it down.
Can I add a case to my diary by speaking in Urdu or Punjabi?
Yes. Tap the mic, speak naturally for up to three minutes, and Munshi transcribes the note, understands mixed Urdu–Punjabi–English and fills the case fields: client, parties, court, judge, FIR number, police station, sections, hearing date and time, purpose and a short summary. Fields the AI is unsure about are marked amber, and nothing is saved until you approve.
- 1Tap the micThe mic sits in the centre of the tab bar on every main screen. Tap to start, tap to stop — no holding while you carry files.
- 2Speak naturally“Bashir walad Usman da case kal Court 5 Kachehri ch aa, das vajay. Chori da case, 379 te 411…” Dates like kal, parson and agle Monday become real dates.
- 3Check the draftThe case card shows every field. Amber means “check this” — tap to edit, or say the correction out loud.
- 4ApproveOne tap saves the case, schedules reminders and adds the hearing to that evening’s WhatsApp brief.
What makes it work in a Pakistani court
Understands how the kachehri speaks
Punjabi-led sentences with Urdu and English legal terms are normal. There is no language button — the language is detected automatically.
Legal vocabulary built in
Peshi, tareekh, zamanat, istighasa, khula, nan-o-nafqa, PPC/CrPC/CPC sections and local court names are sent as hints to the speech engine and the extractor.
Several cases in one note
Say “pehla case… doosra case…” and Munshi splits the note into separate drafts.
Refine by voice
“Judge ka naam Ayesha Malik hai, aur time saarhe 11 hai.” The changed fields flash green so you see exactly what moved.
Duplicate check
If the parties match a case already in your diary, Munshi offers to add a new hearing instead of creating a copy.
Never loses a note
Audio is saved on the phone first. With no signal the note waits in a queue and is processed when you reconnect.
Voice case entry: questions
Which languages can I speak in?
Urdu, Punjabi and English, and any mix of them in the same sentence. The app interface itself is available in English, Urdu (Nastaliq) and Roman Urdu.
How long can one voice note be?
Up to three minutes per note. Most case entries take 15–40 seconds.
Does Munshi save the case automatically?
No. Munshi always shows you a draft first. You approve every case — AI never saves silently.
What happens to my recording?
Audio is encrypted, private to you and deleted after 30 days by default. You can change this in Privacy & security. See our AI and voice processing policy for details.
Can I type instead of speaking?
Yes. Typing is always possible, never required.
