This Addendum forms part of our Terms of Service. It applies to personal data about your clients and other people that you put into Munshi ("Client Data").
Roles
You, the lawyer or chamber, decide why and how Client Data is used. Digital Munshi processes it on your behalf to provide the Service. For your own account details, we are responsible as described in the Privacy Policy.
Our commitments
We will:
- process Client Data only to provide the Service, on your instructions as given through the app and these terms, or where the law requires;
- require anyone authorised to access it to keep it confidential;
- apply the security measures described on our security page;
- use only the types of service provider we list, under written terms that protect the data, and update that page before adding a new type that handles diary content;
- help you respond to requests from people about their data, where we reasonably can;
- tell you without undue delay if we become aware of a breach affecting Client Data;
- delete Client Data when you delete it or your account, in line with the data retention schedule.
Your responsibilities
You remain responsible for your professional duty of confidentiality, for having the right to record Client Data, for keeping it accurate, and for controlling who has access through your chamber.
International processing
Some service providers are outside Pakistan, and your diary database is hosted in West EU (Ireland). Locations by type of provider are shown on the service providers page.
