What does Faisla mean? فیصلہ

Faisla means the decision or judgment of the court; an order may be “reserved” (mehfooz) when the court will announce it later.

After arguments the court may decide immediately or reserve the judgment. A reserved order is worth tracking because its announcement date can be short notice.

In civil cases the judgment is followed by a decree (digree).
